On January 11, Issaquah High School’s DECA club took part in their first round of competition. 175 IHS students traveled to Meydenbauer to take on over 1,000 students from around the area.

62 students were recognized for their performance, with 36 students qualifying for the state competition! In addition, the follow students took high honors:

  • Raghav Mandadi took 1st place in Apparel and Accessories Marketing

  • Olivia Morgan and Ananya Sahoo took 1st in Entrepreneurship

It is the most 1st place finishes that we have ever had as a school! Congrats to all the students.

Also, thank you to the more than 50 adult volunteers from the IHS community who made the event possible. We couldn’t do it without all of you!
