LHS Science Olympiad Team Headed to State!

On Saturday March 9th, the Liberty High Science Olympiad team competed against 42 teams at the University of Washington and earned a trip to STATE. The whole team spent many hours preparing for their respective build and study events. A special shout out to the science teachers at Liberty for helping make it possible. Highlights include: Hallie Chen and Brooke Ury earned 2nd in Water Quality, Nick Vanni and Anna Yates brought home 2nd in Fermi Questions. Allyson Mangus, Naia Willemsen,  and Lili Harris brought home 3rd place medals in Code Busters. Misha Kuznetsov and Tom Kirchoffer took 4th in Circuit Lab, and Hallie Chen placed for the second year running in Herpetology with a 6th place.
