Sports Med National Champions

Over the past couple weeks Issaquah High School’s Sports Med Team has been competing in the National Championships. This year’s competition included over 300+ school and over 3500 competitors, the largest ever.

Issaquah High School’s team was just named the 2019 National Champions!!!  Ultimately they had 8 of the top 10 individual scores in the nation with all the students’ scores placing them in the top 1% of all competitors.  Mind boggling Amazing!  Grace Stretz won the Individual National Championship.

Instructor, Todd Parsons, commented that all of these students are so amazing and I could not be more proud of them. Their work ethic, relentless tenacity towards excellence, and overall approach to being a Sports Med Family is just so humbling to be a part of. It has been such an honor to be their guide on the journey of seeking personal greatness.

We are so thankful to be in such a supportive place here at Issaquah.  Thank you to Issaquah School District, ISD CTE, all of the Issaquah High School Admin and Staff, IHS ASB, and ISF.

These students are leaving here with such an incredible experience and we are so thankful.
